Colorful Tone Music Academy in Shirokane is a professional music program that meets the needs of both aspiring professional musicians and students who are learning to play an instrument solely for their own enjoyment.

Philosophy: Learn to read music on your own / Learn the technique of producing mind-blowing, colorful sounds /
Enjoy the music in an expressive way.

The Representative Director of the academy, Maiko Tanaka Fujii, the former faculty at New York University music department (2000-2003), made her New York solo recital debut at Carnegie hall in year 2000. Our academy’s students develop high level skills in reading music with our own methods.

And we focus on the approach which motivates students to play with ease and efficiency.

Our students include winner of international piano competitions, first-prize Talent show winner and orchestra pianist positions at several international schools in Tokyo. All our faculty members have studied at major conservatories in US, Europe and Japan.

We also have Violin (Japanese/English) and Rhythmic (from 2y old, in Japanese) classes.

Especially in violin, internationally acclaimed performer Alexander Ishizuka-Hobbs will teach beginners and experts alike with passion.
